How to remove a water pump from a 1993 Lexus ES300.

Well dhudson, I believe that's a cam belt-driven piece of gear on the ES300 so it's not quick and easy. If you are going to take it on, go to your local library and see if they have the Chilton's Repair Guide for your Lexus. That will give you the correct sequence of procedure so that you don't create work for yourself and it will save you the time of figuring out how to unbolt the thing. If it's at the 100,000-mile mark without a timing belt change you might as well do both at once while you are working in that area. It will cost a couple hundred bucks more but it's something you really shouldn't put off. Good luck!
