how do I eliminate track off and VSC lights on.

Asked by Guru3DXG9 Jun 27, 2020 at 04:51 PM about the 2002 Lexus ES 300 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car was in a body shop on and off for three months.  Battery had to be
disconnected and reconnected several times over the period.  Didn't notice
lights when I first picked it up but later in the day did see them any time car
was put in gear and started to move forward.  I have done a few of the "Hail
Mary" plays suggested on the internet like a new gas cap, attempted zero
point reset etc.  Nothing has helped.  No check engine light and no
diagnostic codes are showing up.

Take a tie-Rap, pull both the positive and negative cable's off the Battery. Tie Rap them together and let it sit over-night. That will erase what memory is in the computer. Give that a try and hope it works. Good Luck, let me know how it goes!...Pat

Take the Positive and Negative Battery Cable off of the Battery. Then tie-rap them together and let it sit overnight or all day long. It will erase the memory from the computer and that may solve the problem. It won't hurt the car any.
