what tires did the lexus es300 come with in 2002?

Asked by staceymcbg77 Apr 09, 2013 at 11:04 AM about the 2002 Lexus ES 300 FWD

Question type: General

When I replaced the tires on my car 3 years ago, the repair guy said that he couldn't believe that the original factory tires were still on the car, meaning that those tires lasted a really long time. I thought the Toyo tires I bought would be good but they already need to be replaced and it's only been three years. So I wanted to find out what the original tires were so I can purchase them to replace the ones I have.

"So I wanted to find out what the original tires were so I can purchase them to replace the ones I have." -- good thought but you can't buy them. You can buy the same brand but the tires would not be the same. Tire makers are constantly changing the formulas. Tires have a manufactured date on the sidewall. When they hit the sixth birthday, start checking for cracks. When they are ten years old, scrap them. --- new tires are coming out with a numerical tread life rating system.
