what does a steering sensor zero piont malfunction mean
1 Answer
Most newer vehicles have a steering sensor that indicates where straight ahead or zero is for things like lane assist and determining how much input you are giving it while driving down the road. If it has had an alignment recently they should have "zeroed" the sensor calibration as straight ahead usually is adjusted in the process. Most of the alignment machines that are used by any of the bigger chain stores can do this reset with no problem.
