Is spare tire for ES 350 for temporary use only? If yes, how long can I leave it on?

The general guidelines are that you shouldn't exceed 50 MPH for more than 50 miles with a compact spare. Also, the spare tire won't allow the car to handle as securely as a normal tire. I'd recommend only keeping it on for a day or so...Normal highway/ interstate driving 55 MPH - 80 MPH+ isn't best suited at all for the spare.
You're welcome :) Hope you can get the tire replaced soon! Until then, just stay in the right lane on highways and drive at a moderate speed. If it's raining or the roads are wet at all, exercise EXTRA caution!
I just went to the Lexus dealer. They told me that the spare is a full tire. It is not temporary. However, I do think some ES350 come with temporary spare as the user manual indicates. I guess the manual should make it clearer on how to figure out it is temporary or not.
Read the side of the tire. If it has the same codes as the full tires, it is a full tire. Lexus uses P215/55 R17. That’s what the spare is. It’s a real tire.
