I had the same problem. What I have come to find out is that the parking/lever shift needed to be sent correctly into the park position. Even if it looks like it’s in park still wiggling the shift lever and your engine start stop button should go from orange to green. It has something to do with a neutral safety switch in the transmission if it does not sense it’s in park then your engine will not start. I hope this helps

Brake light switch. This is the most likely problem. Google it. Inexpensive fix. 75 dollars for the part.

I had to replace my complete starter. Vehicle would not start and i just had a new battery installed. Towed to Dealership and they had to order part which took two days to repair. My 2007 ES350 Lexus was 11 years old with 53,000 miles when I had to replace the starter in Feb/2019. First and only major problem, repair and replacement part on my 11 year old ES350, 2007 Lexus. Runs great and still very dependable vehicle in 2019. Had headlights refinished in 2019 due to fog.

My 2014 lexus es350 had a similar problem. i was gone for 6 weeks during winter time and when i came back the car would not start. i had to get it jump started and also had to get the hook the car battery to a charger and left it over night to get the battery fully charged. Ever since then the car has been starting good. I will have to change the original batery in it before winter.
