Dealership won't sell vehicle advertised on car gurus for listed car gurus price

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In
Why do dealerships list vehicles for sale and won't
sell them for the advertised car gurus price?
Dealership is mandating a $1500 warranty for
12,000 miles? I don't understand why that is not
listed on car gurus.

Well we left the dealership tonight saying if they agree to sell the vehicle for the advertised price we will purchase..... they brought out papers with it included we drew a line thru and signed with the correct pricing etc walked out saying call us if you change your mind.
Very disheartened will not be using car gurus to shop for vehicle. It's a scam with the dealership to draw in customers. It's unethical!
Yes dealerships are unethical! It's really bait n switch.
Patriot in Bartlesville has had the same 2009 Lexus RX350 listed over and over. I drove an hour to look at it and they said that it sold yesterday then it showed up again on CarGurus the next day for $500 more!! And then as sold for $7500. Guess what it’s baack!! 2 weeks later! Guess how much it’s listed as? $7,000……I know it’s the same car bc the VIN NUMBER IS LISTED!!! I’m disgusted…thank you for your post also!
