TPMS reset

Asked by GuruTKCMC Jul 09, 2018 at 04:12 PM about the 2013 Lexus ES 350 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had a local Firestone  replace a damaged TPMS sensor. The sensor serial number was accepted as the correct sensor. The mechanic used the reset switch to reset but it failed. The tire warning icon still appears on the dash and
the tire pressures do not appear on the display screen(just straight lines). Is there a fix for this problem or do you think that is the wrong TPMS sensor.was installed?
