Saturn Vue Tires

Asked by Kevin Dec 12, 2017 at 03:38 PM about the 2006 Saturn VUE V6 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi all, tire question.

I have a 2006 Saturn Vue V6 AWD. I currently have 245/50 18 tires on my
car. I was looking at purchasing snow tires and upon searching came across
that my tire was for the red line? and that V6 AWD is recommended 235/60
17.

First, how can I determine if my car is red line or not? Second, if it is not red
line does having the 18s effect me negatively? Any and all advice is
welcome. Thanks!

You cannot put 17" tires on 18" wheels. Just pick a good snow tire that fits your wheels or buy a dedicated set of wheels for snow tires. I think you will have a better tire selection in 17" sizes.
