2002 Saturn Vue clutch pedal goes to floor after driving on highway.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Pedal goes to floor with no pressure to disengage clutch. I checked for leaks and found none. The clutch reservoir is still full. I bled the system. Worked fine for 1 week and did it again. I figured the master was by-passing fluid. Had clutch master cylinder and fluid line to trans replaced. Worked fine for a few days and it did it again. Pumped clutch pedal over 20 times and does not build pressure.

Have you check the slave cylinder, if there is no leak there still could be air in the system...

I will bleed system again tonight. Thanks for the reply. Funny how it worked fine around town but I lost the clutch when I drove on the highway for about 30 minutes.
