Can I drive (about 1 mile) my "Baja" 2005 turbo- with motor oil in excess by 1-1/2 can

Asked by Izik Dec 03, 2015 at 08:04 PM about the 2005 Subaru Baja Turbo

Question type: General

I by mistake put extra 1-1/2 can of motor oil in my Subaru "Baja" turbo-2005.
How far can I drive it and at what RPM?

With this much oil over it is not good to drive it,IMO.

If you have to drive then keep the RPM's as low as possible, go really slow with light throttle and keep an eye on the oil pressure. I would drain the oil first though.
