What is the aftermarket options looking for a 2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5rs looking like?

I recently bought an 05 Impreza 2.5rs, the guy
before me put a newer engine in it with 55,xxx
miles. New clutch and trans (just thought I
should put that out there). Very very clean car,
drives great and hardly any rust. Uncle is a
mechanic of 10 years and said it’s a great car.
I’m 16 and don’t know a whole lot about what
after market parts I should get for a car. I
know a lot but there is people out there that
know a whole lot more than me and the car.
I’m looking for coil overs, wheels,
performance upgrades (besides a turbo
because you can’t run more than 10 psi
without something going wrong). But I’m
mostly looking for an exhaust and the whole
set up, price does not matter, I’ve always
been told “if you’re gonna do it, do it right.” I
looked on COBB and a few other name brand
sites but can’t seem to find a good/reliable
exhaust for the car. Thank you guys for any
information.

I would not spend much money on the car but you could go with wheels and have muffler shop install a louder muffler if that is what you want. There are good reason why there are no performance goodies for your car!

Well said. Go with nice wheels and tires and leave all else alone. The 2004-2007 2.5 RS is a nice chassis, but aging out. Less restrictive air mods (intake or exhaust) will NOT increase torque nor top end. Concentrate on cute cosmetics and maybe a better driver's seat, but don't chase pricey suspension mods either. It's a fun, cheap Subie as is...keep it that way.

That is true there are no real performance Mods for a non-turbo Subaru or most four cylinders and six cylinder cars. Adding intake or exhaust is not really gonna give you any power too. But to go faster for those cars you can get an inertia CVI unit and you will definitely feel and go a lot faster than stock. It is cheaper than adding a turbo. Inertiatx.com money back guarantee!
