I'm wanting to buy A 1989 BMW 750iL with 130,000 Miles and I'm wondering if it's a good idea. Is the car very durable? Is it expensive to maintain? Is the Fuel Mileage decent? etc.

would it be smart buying a bmw 7 series with about 100,000miles already on it? i heard they are so reliable they wont die out till 200k-250kmiles? any thoughts?
