I have a 1993 CHevy Caprice Classic. All my lights work except for the brake lights. What could be wrong? new bulbs, and new fuses? and brake lights still do not work.

Brake lights are on their own circuit and only share the ground connection at the tail lights. Check for power into the brake light switch locate at the brake pedal. That will let you know that the fuse is good. Check for power out of the switch with the pedal pressed. That tells you power is being sent to the rear. If you have power going to the rear, check the brake light sockets for power and for ground.
First check the ground connection. Second check for power to the lights. You may have a lose or broken wire. Then working backward, juice at the fuse, then connection at the break peddle. Your break contact switch may be the problem, or just needs to be repositioned. It is really a simple electric circuit, as it stands alone.
First, turn on the 4-way flashers. If they work, it is NOT the fuse. If they do not work, then it is the fuse. By work, I mean the indicators on the dash. If the dash indicators work, but the lights on the back don't then chances are it is the bulbs. If the 4 ways do work, then you need to check the brake light switch.

Stephen05, check the fuse. Also as Michael above suggested, try the emergency flashers. If they work, it is not a fuse or wiring issue. It may be the inside switch itself if they work on emergency flash. If nothing works, try checking the fuse.
