1993 Chevy Lumina Euro sport

I tried to jump my battery cause my car
won't crank up and it still didn't crank .. i
had Already needed a belt for the pulley so
I don't no if that was the problem or not ..
but why won't it crank up ? Help

Check battery voltage should be minimum 12.4vdc, clean battery cables, make sure they are clean free of corrosion and tight. If everything checks out good, check voltage at the starter solenoid and if voltage is present at solenoid start terminal, replace starter. If no voltage present when you try to start it, trace back to starter relay up to the ignition switch
