From my research it's approximately 3,500 lbs.

as far as i know its about 3500-3600 pounds running weight (with oil, gas, coolant, etc.)
Yep, about 3500 or so, which is heavier than some, but not too bad, my friend has a 1991 mustang and he says that thing weighs 4000.
hey i was wondering, i have a 1985 GMC caberrello amarilo its my first car good shape but come jan. i want to get it built big time it has a 305 in it right now but i think i want a crate motor and hey are the GMCs and the cheveys compatable as far as parts go? one more thing what can i do now and later to lightin it up some? if ya can help that would be awsome!

The weight of my 84 is LF=1066 RF=1026 LR=822 RR=755 for a total of 3664 lbs and a split F to R is 57%F R is 43% this is with 1/2 tank of gas and me 173lbs in it and a 10 lb bottle LR and a 1 gallon fuel cell in LF and thats with a fiberglass hood and alum heads no a/c
My 79 weights in at 3350, with me in it and I weight 260, 6 point roll bar 10gal fuel cell full and a 10lb bottle of nitrous, which actually weights 25lbs.. Also have aluminum heads.
