1991 chevy astro 4.3 TBI

Asked by gtx1 Apr 21, 2010 at 02:11 PM about the 1991 Chevrolet Astro

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I floor the gas the TBI does not want to spray any gas and all you hear is a air suction noise. I checked all the sensores that relate towards fuel and air control and everything seems fine. Plus the ECM does not throw any codes.I do not know what else to do.

I would reccommend finding out if the fuel pressure regulator works, fuel injectors are not clogged, and if the regulator does work, whether you are getting enough fuel pressure, it may not be a bad idea to see if replacing the fuel filter (if it has not been done recently), helps solve the problem.
