Dear ramper- Yes, the 1991 Chevrolet Camaro was rear-wheel-drive. The Z28 gave you an increase in horsepower over the RS model, from 140 hp. to 210 hp. It also featured a sportier suspension. This engine and suspension upgrade was also available in the special edition, "Special Service" model. made available to law enforcement, the government, and military agencies. Less than 600 of those were sold in 1991. Good luck from Bovan.
Actually there were 2 Engines Available in the Production RS in 1991 and 1992 the 1st was the EFI 3.1L V6 making 140hp and the 2nd was the TBI 5.0L V8 making 170hp, now the Z28 Version of the Camaro got even more Performance with an Available 5.0L TPI making 210hp and its Top Engine Option the 5.7 TPI making 245hp.
