Took it to mechanic shop thay told me to change the throttle body and egr value doing the same thing

Check battery for a dead cell. Clean battery terminals. Check the cables for corrosion also. Sometimes the corrosion will creep up the cable. Peel back some of the plastic sheathing and see if it's all white powder. You may have to replace the positive cable. Also check down by the starter for corrosion. May want to look at the EVAP box by the gas tank. There is a large vacuum line there. Check it for leaks. Have read other posts where people have had to replace the ignition switch. Was shorting out and just shutting off the truck. They said it was part # LS1259. May be different for your year. They never posted a year for their truck.
