Over heating

I have a Dodge ram I started it this
morning in about 30 min it was at the h I
turned it off added antifreeze but it won't
cool down no smoke from engine and
doesn't seem hot. Could it be thermastate?

IT COULD BE BAD, BUT THERE CAN ALSO BE OTHER THINGS THAT CAUSE A CAR TO OVER HEAT, SUCH AS IS YOUR FAN COMING ON WHEN THE CAR HAS REACHED TEMPERATURE, IS THERE AIR IN THE SYSTEM,DOES YOUR OVER FLOW TANK HAVE ANTIFREEZE IN IT. HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR CAP?
