Possible causes: Air in cooling system, Bad/stuck thermostat, Clogged radiator or bad hoses, Bad radiator cap seal, Head gaskets, If any electric fan(s) not working if it has electric fans then relay or temp sensor, Do a compression test on all cylinders & test for exhaust in coolant to confirm if head gasket failed.
