Asked by GuruTSXVS Jun 30, 2018 at 10:04 AM about the 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Fan motor comes on only once in a while, sometimes when I open & close the
glove box real hard or hit the dash board then it will come on sometimes.
What may be the fix

Take a look at the heater box down near the floor on the passenger side. There is a multi prong plug there that has a reputation of coming loose, being bumped by the passenger's feet. It doesn't really stay tight. I fixed mine by adding pieces of tinfoil in each of the female connectors to tighten it up.
