Screw all the chasing wires you'll be there all month Install a toggle switch (not a permanent on or off) Disconnect negative terminal. Splice the wire going to the starter and connect another wire from the positive side of the battery. Run both wires into cab of vehicle and figure out where you want to position new starter button. Boom no pissing around. Turn the key to on and push button. You may also have to disconnect the safety nuetral switch. Not sure. That's what I did with my 2007 Ram 6.7. The dealership in Leamington, Ontario, 3 days could not figure it out. Wanted 850$. And did nothing. ( never payed them that) another shop 2 weeks nothing. Charged me nothing. Bought them a case of tall boys. Old boy next door. Told me. To try that. Boom driving. Good luck.
