Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2008 Silverado went crazy on me. I was passing another car speed 75 mph
The door locks came on and off, the safety belt lights came on, the engine
started to slow and speed up, the clock went from 4:00 PM to 12:00 pm, the
date went to 01/01/2004, the A/C started to blow hot air. I stopped on the
shoulder and turned it off, everything stopped only the ABS light stayed on. I
called OnStar to check what's wrong, they said everything looks good, check
the tires, if they are good, you are good to drive. All tires were 33psi. I reset
all the electronic functions and went home. I was in danger for at least 5
minutes in the left lane passing another car.

Check the battery cables to see if they are free of corrosion, clean and tight. Also check the battery connection at the starter and the grounds. If all checks out time for further diagnosis.

It was the connection between the cables and the battery. Apparently, the cable expands when it gets hot and lose the connection. When it's cold everything checks fine. Tighten the bolts on the cables real good solved the problem. Thank you.
