does anybody know how to remove gas tank from a 1981 Mercedes Benz 280 CE?

that's a diesel...the tank appeared to be on the trunk side...will have to watch Mick's vid~

Guess that's SMART, keeping the elements...salt, mud Away from the tank...rusting is minimal....probably a poly tank anyways~
Diesel or not it's 99% the same procedure be it on a w123, 126, 201, 124 saloon.

Honestly bud, it's a pretty easy thing to do. The hardest part is probably actually taking the thing out once it's all undone, unplugged... Good luck.
