my 94 acura legend is at a mechanic shop and they say i don't have compression in at least 3 to 4 cylinders and say i need a new motor ... does this sound right? symptoms cranking with no start

they say i have oil in 3cylinders and compression about 50% in 3 to 4 cylinders that he checked. they say i need a new motor. do i need a new motor or should i replace the seal or rings

most likely cause would be valve seals leaking. get cylinder head rebuilt and machined. replace all seals and gaskets. you should be god to go.
