Nothing to go on!!! Does handle unlock latch? Does door lock unlock it? Does handle pull all the way out? Give a MUCH BETTER description of the problem to get a much better description of the fix.

I am not the one who originally posted ,but hey I will take advantage of the blog. I have a 2004 ford expedition eddie bauer 5.4 triton v8. The rear passenger turn signal stopped working two weeks ago . It also has no brake light on thst side as we all know . The rear liftgate is also unable to be opened . One day I opened it and put groceries in and closed it only for it to never be opened again. Now the only way to fix the taillight is to figure out how to open the liftgate .

We need much more info/description. Does handle unlock latch? Does door lock unlock it? Does handle pull all the way out? Give a MUCH BETTER description of the problem to get a much better description of the fix. As to how much??? That depends on who does the work and what they charge. There is no fixed price for all work in all parts of the country.

Hello, My rear liftgate/tailgate door isn't opening, I don't hear it unlocking. No accidents/never been hit in the rear, never had an issue with it and it's always worked fine. My battery recently died & I had to replace it, my truck starts, all the driver & passenger doors all lock/unlock, but now the liftgate lock doesn't want to unlock anymore. I used to hear it unlock/lock, but now don't hear anything click over. I can open the liftgate window, but when I pull on the handle to open the liftgate door, nothing happens. I can fully pull out the handle, there is no resistance. If anyone can help me resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
