Are they able to remove anti theft from a Ford explorer

The passive anti-theft system is controlled by the PCM and is tied into many functions of the vehicle. Starter and fuel pump operation just being two. Trying to override the proper operation can result is a more expensive process to diagnosis and fix than having a new key made.
