is it weird to have a 280z with a vin starting HLS30?

Asked by rsautoart Nov 30, 2011 at 08:30 PM about the 1976 Datsun 280Z

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

The VINs on my two newly acquired 280Zs both start with  HLS30-, and when I search for this
type of VIN all that comes up are 240Zs. I want to know about my VIN; can anyone decode it for
me? and is it weird for a 280Z to start with that?

It's perfectly natural to have a 280Z that has a VIN HLS30! It's why the 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z are all called S30s! Skid it!

Your Answer:
