Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I want to buy a 1977 280z, but I don't know if it is a gas guzzler or not. Also, some other good
facts that you could share about it would be greatly appreciated.

17 to 20 if your lucky, you really shouldnt buy any Z for MPG. The L seris engines last forever though. The L sieres came in the 240, 260, 280, 280zx. Most of the parts are interchangable. Some parts from the 300zx can be used in earlier Z's. Many people do other swaps than just the Z engines, the also put in LS1's, RB25/26, or even short 350's. There is a ton of info out there. Just look up on YOUTUBE they might give you some ideas. If you have anymore questions go ahead and drop me a line or look up Hybridz.org
