Canada+Skyline=USA
Has anyone have or know anyone that has gotten a skyline from canada? I know you can do it but it has to be 15 years old up there to be able to be legal. I live in maine so distance is really not a prob even though i dont really like the r32 or r33 that much.

To my limited knowledge, any and all of the skylines that we have up here in Canada have been imported from out of the country already, so it would probably be easier to import them from wherever they're originating from in the first place. Every one that I've seen up here at least has been right hand drive, yet every vehicle actually sold here is left drive, so it leads me to believe that they're all imported from overseas. The only exceptions thus far is the 2006-2008 "skyline" which is just an Infinity G35 coupe, with some performance modifications (exhaust, suspension, tuning etc) and some SLIGHT appearance mods. God knows I've been looking for a decent skyline for a while up here, but haven't found one that i wouldn't have to import from overseas...(or buy one that has already been imported from overseas).
Go to nicoclub.com (Nissan Infiniti Car Owners) and under the reviews tab there's info on importing skylines. Good luck!

You might want to check out gtrcanada.com That's where I have been the past few years for my info. But your alll the way in Maine. Most Skylines go strait to Vancouver. I have been saving up for a GTS myself, it is significantly cheaper from the GTR. The site I am planning on buying from ships them from Japan to Vancouver where I have a guy to help me get it here to Minnesota. But you should look up a lot of info on this if you haven't. The U.S. is VERY strict on Skylines, except for the R33 which I believe becomes legal in Canada next year. I know there are 2 R32's in my state and 1 R33. But one of the 32's never got legalized. You want to ask around if your serious, don't go into this so lightly, it took me awhile to find someone to get me a title for when I buy one. And for insurance, I believe Progressive is the only company that will insure it other then a Grey Market insurer which would jack up the price. Progressive would be around 100$ a month. I say best of luck to you, I think gtrcanada will help you out a lot as it did for me.

Steve, amybe you should try gtrcanada.com Canada is extremely high in imports. They get GTR's imported weekly. Next year they will be getting R33's. But you wouldn't believe how many Canada has.
? do you even know what your talking about ? first thing is that the R34 in good shape is the most expensive model ranging from 20k for a slightly beat up one in 60k for a mint low miles one. and yes they have them in canada because ive seen them its called importing. they have a 15 year law for all imports. get your facts straight.
