start with oil level and move on from there. Could be a number of things. Any other hints like rough running bucking when cold? Anything that maybe seems unrelated, but might help us pin it down?

Mine comes on too. Oil light is off. Car runs fine.

i was told by auto zone. That if you don't tighten the gas cap. it could cause the light to come on. He was right. I always make sure it is on tight, my light quit coming on
