Will a 289 with a 6 bollet bellhousing paired with a    
3 speed toploader RAN R1 trans out of a 67 Bronco
fit in a 63 comet

The 260 was an option in a 63Comet, so theres no reason why it wont, If your comet is not a v8 now, you will need at a minimum the frame mounts for the motor mounts as they are totly different than the 6 cyl ones
