Inherited a Plymouth Duster, What do we have

I inherited a 1975 Plymouth Duster 340 wedge from my dad last month. Everyone keeps telling me that i have a rare car and i should just keep in parked in the garage. What do i really have. I am not familiar with cars. Here are a few details about the car.

Its a 1975 Plymouth Duster- 340 wedge clone of the 1972 340 wedge.plum crazy colored, 2 bench seats, no rust under the hood or trunk, 318 V8 automatic, 4 barrel carborator. 103,000 miles

That's a good looking old car. Don't see to many of them around here any more in that good of shape. Not sure about what it's worth but if it was mine it would only get drove on weekends. IMO it's worth keeping.

Agreed. I come from the school of drive it and enjoy it. Park it in the winter, but it is meant to be driven. Museum pieces and trailer queens defeat the purpose of having a fun old car. Values will vary widely from region to region and an ever-changing market for MoPar A-bodies (Valiants, Darts, Demons, Dusters, etc.). This is a cool old Plymouth that was dad's, so keep it!
