I have a 81 toy & an 86 can I put thd 22r from the 81 to the 86 ?

Looks like you can, even though the 1981 is 3rd generation and the 1986 is 4th. The 22R applications are: 1981 Toyota Corona// 1981-1988 Toyota Hilux //1981-1984 Toyota Celica //1981-1995 Toyota Pickup// 1984 Toyota 4Runner
