i have a 1988 toyota pikup v6 3.0  severe misfire   no change when either #4 or # 6 plug wire removed comperssion good

sounds like a timing issue...loosen the distrubutor hold down bolt.... start the truck and then turn the distributor until it smoothes out.... mark where the distributor was when you started.

The timing may be a little off . There are two opposing cylinders not changing the sound of the enging while running. cyl. 3 and 4 no change at all when plup wire are pulled good compression and spark I will try your suggestion Thanks

Yes they are I made a mistake it cyl 3 and 4 the two center opposing cyl

I had pulse at the injectors and pressure was I took the plunge and tore it down today. And found that injector 3 and 4 were clogggggggggged Thanks for your responce
