i RECENTLY BOUGHT A BASKETCASE MGB, BUT NOW THE PROBLEM,
ON THE TRUNKLID THE SCRIPT READS MGB CT NOT GT.  I THINK I HAVE
NARROWED THE YEAR DOWN TO 1967.  I TRIED TO PULL MGB CT IN
GOODLE WITH NO ANSWER.  AND THE VIN DOESNT TELL ME ANYTHING

The G is probably broken off and looks like a C. That would be my guess. Jim

I agree with a car that old. Probably broke off a long time ago and you do have an MGB GT. Good luck with the restoration. They were fun cars in their day,
