Engine removal

You could do a ring and rod bearing rebuild but not a proper rebuild. To do the crank and bore the cylinders you need to remove the engine. It really is not difficult.
Thank you very much the car only has 10,000 miles on it and been sitting inside for 36 years but the pistons were stuck so l want to pull them clean them up and give the cylinders a clean up
If the cylinders are not pitted you can hone them. Are you sure it does not have 110,000 miles on it? Look for a ridge at the top of the cylinders. If you can feel one with your fingers the engine is worn.
l,m sure that the mileage is correct the car was just dirty from sitting inside the brakes our still free and working but tires our dried an all the vacuum lines break as soon as you touch them but the body has no rust at all and just a few chips in the original paint and underside is clean plus the car hasn't been plated in 37 years . l will be doing a complete overhaul of the car before driving it at all
Nice find. Good luck with the restoration. The fuel system is going to need a lot of work.
l plan on sending the fuel tank to a rad shop to have them clean it and flush the lines plus rebuild the carburetor. It winter here in Ontario Canada so l have the time to do this n before spring
If you don't have smog laws to comply with swap in a dual SU setup or a Weber or two.
