My 2003 ford focus will crank but not start after fixing timing belt whats wrong?

If it doesn't even sound like it wants to fire up then check that a plug has not been removed or come off on the cam sensors and or crank sensor. It if wants to start but struggles and doesn't it is possible that the cam timing might be out. Check the timing marks first. If they line up then check to see if piston one is physically on top dead centre through the plug hole. Check that when at TDC both intake and exhaust valves must be closed. I have come across timing marks that were out from the factory... Hope this helps.
My husband put a new timing belt on it okay and everything was lined up and he also replaced the pulley however like I said everytime we go to crank the focus it will not fire off it cranks just doesn't fully run
And it jumps time everytime we turn it over to start it
