Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am having trouble with my Mazda 6 a/c. I have
checked the fuses. My issue is when I turn on the
a/c fan to 1 the light comes and the fan wont
come on. When I turn the fan on to 2, 3, or 4 the
light shuts off and the A/C stops working. I hooked
up my gauges and when I turn the knob to 1
pressure read is 30 or less. When I turn it to 2, 3 or
4 a/c shuts off and pressure readings are 70 to 80.
I replaced the blower because it went out. Cant
seem to figure this out. Any help would be
appreciated

Ok I figured it out. After changing fuses, chasing wires and even replacing the blower Motor Control Module / Resistor. I even changed the cabin air filter. I did find it. Next to the cabin air filter are two wires. A pink and a green wire. For some reason the connections were bad after. I wiggled the two wires and the connectors around and the A/C starting working again. Two small wires inside a connector and headache. At least it's working again. Attached is a picture of what I found. Hope this helps the next person.
