WHY DO I HAVE TO ACCELERATE SLOWLY?

Are you saying you have a TQ code? If so, that means the convertor inside the transmission is probably broken not allowing you to gain speed. You probably will need to rebuild the transmission. Have a transmission shop diagnose the issue for you to confirm. Not much we can do on this end.
