I replaced the relay on my boyfriend's 2003 Ford Taurus but ran out of daylight so he finally fit them working. He said I had put the relay under the dash panel in backwards. Is that possible?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I replaced the relays the pattern of
the prongs makes it impossible to plug all
the way or plain plug in but one way. I think
he made that up to make me look like I'm
not as knowledgeable as I thought. Please
clarify on this so I can either apologize or
show this to him so I have the experts input
and bust his lying butt. Thank you.

Sincerely,
