I have a 2001 Ford Taurus when I turned the key to start, the starter engaged but never turned over the engine and did not shut off when I put key back in off position, and s 1 Answer

Starter stopped after running for 20 minutes and tapped it with a hammer and also the power steering pump overflowed.

My Ford Taurus 2005 clicks but won't turn over when I try to start the engine. Headlights and dash lights flash or come on very dim when key is in ignition. Is this a bad alternator? 3 Answers

My 2003 Ford Taurus wont start. When I turn the key it only makes a clicking sound. I replaced the starter but am still getting the same clicking sound. Any suggestions on what else to look at?

Have a 99 Ford Taurus wagon se 3.0 dohc. Wont start. Car was sitting for a year. Replaced the battery, and starter. Got a very slow crank but no where near where I thought it would do. Suggestions? 3 Answers

Cranking is very slow almost like a old dog barking. I was thinking it was seized but still can turn main pulley with a wrench, but it is alittle hard to do. Trouble shooted all my wiring and all ...
