What does is mean if cylinder 6 has no compression? Is this expensive to fix?

I am looking to buy a Windstar but I have been told cylinder 6 has no compression. Is this serious?  How much and how difficult is it to fix

Yes it is expensive. And you don't want it on less its free. And then only if it's super nice. Your looking at a head gasket at the very least.

Thanks everyone...I didn't know. I am desperately looking for a cheap but reliable vehicle so this helps a lot! I'm sure I will have more questions. lol
