EGR light on dash comes on every so often. The air pump was disconnected before I bought the car. any Idea?

my fiat is not a running car yet...i am not very familiar with the fiats at all. i bought this car on spec i liked the design of the car and thought i would restore it now i find i can't afford it so i may have to offer it for sale.....interested? donHall7338@yahoo.com
