I have a 2006 SRX Caddy. I lost the keys and a GMC dealer(not Caddy) made me a new set and "programed" them. They fit the locks and turn the ignition, but the car wont start and the security icon is flashing. They insist there is something else wrong besides the the keys and even sold a new battery. I called a caddu tech at another dealership, and he said if the security is flashing they did not program the keys correctly. The caddy tech said the only other possiblity is the security module is defective, but is very rare. Who is right?
