Toyota Hiace Super Custom ZR1 petrol engine has electric fuel pump in tank. Fuel pump operates when directly connected to spare battery. Fuse panel info does NOT identify which fuse operates pump.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can you tell me where the power to the fuel pump is fused or otherwise
controlled?  The pump was operating before I dropped the tank for
maintenance purposes.  When I reinstalled the tank, the pump was
inoperative.  I dropped the tank again and connected a spare battery directly
to the fuel pump.  It ran fine.  I checked the fuse panel under the dash.  All
fuses are ok.  The ID info on the fuse panel cover does NOT ID which fuse
operates the fuel pump.  Is there some other type of control that I am
overlooking?  Please give me an idea.....   Thank you very much.

Just check all the fuses, it will only take a minute or two. I would suspect you damaged a wire or disconnect the pump when you dropped the tank.
