Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My third brake light has stopped working. When I am behind it I have seen it working periodically. So I am wondering if there is anyone who can help me track this problem down myself and fix it. I saw Gaetano04 may have some info on this particular problem and knowledge of fixing it myself opposed to paying cadillac 7 bills for the whole assembly kit. Does it have its own fuse? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

if it works periodically it is more than likely a fuse or poor wiring. you might want to go to a body shop and have them take a quick look. if you want to try it yourself, the fuses are located under the rear seat. that might be a good place to start
