2001 Cadillac deville

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i try to start my caddy it wants to turn over
but dies so when i press on the gas peddle while
turning the key it starts up but i have to keep on the
gas for it to stay running...and when it decides to
stay running it idles high and when i drove it i had
to keep my foot on the break to keep me at the
right speed....i replaced the map sensor bcuz it
was broke i have replaced the throttle sensor and
plan on replacing the idle sensor soon...

no codes mentioned..replace the idle sensor soon...it should not be in a learn mode..there were no codes if not that could be a problem in itself

Me and a friend hooked up a code reader 13 codes came up and they was sensors..what would cause it to be in re-learn mode and how long will it last...

K thanks also its leakin oil but it also has way to much in it i checked the oil filter and it was pretty lose so i tightened it but it still leaks i got the front of the car on jack stands and wiped off da bottom but there is oil everywhere any ideas...i been looking it up and ppl say i gotta take out motor and that cost $4000 i dont have
