I own a 2000 cadillac deville i was driving when all of a sudden my car just died. I tried 3 times to start it before it started again. It died 7 more times within 5 miles of me getting it home. HELP>

Sound,s like a fuel problem,check filter,s and pump.

I would also believe its a bad fuel pump. Unfortunitly, it is located in the gas tank and cost about $500.00 to replace. It may have been just my Caddy but I noticed my fuel gauge was not accurate untill I put in the new fuel pump.

You may have the same problem I had with this situation. the crank sensors (2 of them) needed to be replaced. Once that was done I had no further problem with this particular problem. Best that I remember it cost $300 to $400. Did not have it have it done at the dealership - cost was much more.
